Mongolian Horses and Seogwipo Festival !

semi-overcast 1 °C

We just had a great weekend. On Saturday I went diving which of course was fantastic ! On Saturday evening there was a small festival in our home city of Seogwipo. The performances were great ! It was a little like "Britain's got talent" but the Korean version and in the street !

On Sunday, we went up to the horse and deer pasture near to the peak of Hallasan mountain which is the highest mounatin in South Korea (18000m) and took some beautiful photographs of the horses (all of Mongolian ancestry) and the roe deers. The air up the air is unbelievably fresh and clean it's so mineral rich you could almost eat it ! Next weekend we're going to climb to the peak of Hallasan. The hike will take nine hours ! Wish us luck !

In the afternoon we met some tourists from France who we took on a small tour of Seogwipo. Barbara will be their guide for the next three days . In exchange they've kindly given Barbara some foodtsuffs and drink from France
so our larder now is looking very much like our larder used to look it France ! :)
